Dustin's stud fee is £250. This fee is payable on the first visit after a successful mating. You will be given copies of his KC Pedigree certificate, all his health documents, and a receipt for the stud fee, if required.
In the unlikely event that your girl does not become pregnant, we can offer a revisit on her next season, free of charge. In this instance we would ask your dog has progesterone tests / cytology as it could mean she has an unusual cycle which is why the initial mating didn't result in a pregnancy.
We have a decent sized garden at home on the Wirral, and a large cabin which is now affectionately referred to as the 'Love Shack'. So if you wish to come here, but the weather isn’t great they can use the shack!
Equally, I am happy to travel to you if it would suit you better, I only ask that you cover my travel costs (I can confirm travel costs when we talk). I also need to be able to work around my real job. Dustin doesn’t seem to mind where he is, so the choice is yours.
If you are nervous or unsure and want to make sure that the dogs get on, then I am more than happy to meet up before the girl comes into season. We can have a chat and bring the dogs along to meet, too. In some ways, this can be better as it takes away some of the angst and we can talk things through face to face.
Dustin is a well proven stud now and knows his job and is good at telling when a girl is ready. If it is too early then we will reschedule for the following day.
1. Pre Date Nerves?
Let the dogs get comfortable around each other, with a pre-date meet (this is optional).
2. The Exciting Wait
Wait until your girl comes into season. It's all about the timing!
3. Date Night
The big night (or day). This is when the magic will happen.
4. The Pups
If the mating was successful, then it's just a short wait until the bundles of joy arrive.
If you are nervous about COVID then please get in touch and we can discuss the best way to go around matings.
